Honest answers, including the unflattering ones.
$6.99/month or $59.99/year, after a 7-day free trial with full access. Subscriptions renew through the App Store and cancel in your Apple ID settings.
It stays yours, readable and exportable — never hostage. After the trial or a cancellation you keep free read-only access to everything you documented, and Vault Export keeps working — it is never paywalled.
The honest split: operational fields we need for features — manufacturer, model, dates, categories — are readable by the service and disclosed as such. Sensitive fields — serial numbers, notes, personal memory content — are encrypted on your device before they reach us; we store ciphertext we cannot read. Codes and passwords never reach our servers at all. The privacy policy lists every category precisely.
No. No ads, no selling data, no data brokers — and no advertising, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs in the app. Our AI partners do not train on your data.
Not at launch. HomeAtlas ships for iPhone, United States first.
Viewing your documentation: yes. Scanning and Q&A need a connection.
Your own manuals, cited to the page. When the answer is not in your documents, HomeAtlas declines rather than guesses — every answer is badged with its source.
Settings → Your Data → delete your account. Deletion is immediate and permanent, so the app offers a Vault Export first. A full deletion removes your records from our servers and clears the app’s stored credentials on your device. Note it does not cancel your Apple subscription — see the account deletion page.
Retrieval from your documents comes first; AI formats what was found — and says so when nothing was. Manual-first, AI-last, and the badge always tells you which one you are reading.
