Prices, trial, cancellation, Restore Purchases, and refunds — how billing works, in plain terms.
The price and trial terms are always shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.
Cancel any time in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Because Apple owns the subscription, cancellation happens in your Apple settings, not inside HomeAtlas.
You are never locked out of what you documented. When a subscription is not active, HomeAtlas drops to a free read-only tier: everything you have already added stays fully readable, and Vault Export keeps working. What the free tier pauses are the actions that create new work — adding new equipment, running new AI questions, and similar. Reading, browsing, and exporting your existing home record remain open.
If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use Restore Purchases to re-link your existing subscription. It is available on the paywall and in your settings. Restoring uses your Apple ID — there is no separate HomeAtlas login to recover.
Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by HomeAtlas. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We are glad to help with any issue at support@yourhomeatlas.com, but the refund itself is Apple’s to grant.
Deleting your HomeAtlas account removes your data, but it does not cancel your Apple subscription — those are separate systems. If you are leaving for good, cancel the subscription in your Apple settings and delete your account. See account deletion.
